A major financial services company contracted with North River to help it develop a plan for merging its existing data center operations with those of a company it acquired.In only a few months NRS completed a complete hardware and software assessment, validated all software licenses, analyzed data traffic and saved the client several million dollars by re-architecting the way in which its mainframe accessed several remote databases.
Without this help, the client would have been forced to add two processors to its existing mainframe and taken months longer to complete the merger of their systems and databases.
